That hot heat came early to Amon Indy too, Wiz! I never turn my air on so early in the summer, but I wasn't sleeping either. At least last night it cooled back down to sleep with the windows open - very strange weather all 'round the Shire it seems!

a few years ago we finally broke down and bought a window air conditioner for the bedroom. it fit perfectly in the window and makes the difference between sleeping and sweating. i take it out of the window and store it for the winter. you might consider one. the unit costs less than $100 and is worth every penny, every year. dot

I more than sympathize - I didn't get to sleep until nearly 1 a.m. - when it finally cooled off to 86 in my bedroom - with TWO fans on me!! Ugh.
