dodo, your day sounds perfectly lovely.. we have also hiked the trail to indian beach. does peggy often get car sick? i am home from work for my second day. i was minding my own business, walking the dogs through the park on the bike path/side walk when suddenly i fell! in slow motion i realized i could not stop myself. there was a big lip in the pavement that of course i did not see since there was no discoloration or any other indication of hazard, and i walk this path fairly regularly. anyway, i hit my knee, my hip, my shoulder, the heel of my hand, but what impaired my is the hit to my ribs! they hit hard on the cement and by the time i got home, my rib muscles were spasming non stop until the next afternoon, yestre. i took a pain pill sunday night but it was still quite painful. the aleve i took earlier did not even phase me. so i went to the doc, assuming they'd get an xray but since you can't do anything to ribs, they just gave me a rib girdle. unforetunately, the hit in my ribs is under my breast, so the rib wrap doen't really work as well as it would if the bonk was anywhere else. oh the joys of trifocals!!!! and my students all know to keep the floor free of stuff and chairs pushed in because i don't see well and i have gigantic feet. they will continue to believe me when i see them tomorrow. oh what a world, what a world... guess what movie that line is from? hope shcool is going well. and the fire pit sounds really great. we bought one for my birthday last year but still havent used it. someday. bye. dot.
